hello guys!
i need your help in a planning issue
i have as inputs= a monthly "to produce", a monthly forecast & the opening stock of this month
i want as output= production scheduling
i have m production lines which produce n(m) products
only p of the m productions line (p<m) can operate in the same week.
in your opinion, what's the appropriate way to calculate the covering stock in days so as to schedule the production on a weekly basis, based on the covering in days as a criteria
and what are the tools(excel, Cplex, R, python... whatever else ) you suggest me to use for this purpose
